About the accommodations
“Yamato” is located on a hill. Admire the view that leaves a really spectacular feeling, as if you were looking down from a castle tower. Inside the house spreads out in a quiet, peaceful space that calms the mind just like walking through a forest. In the spring, you will notice that Japanese nightingales awaken and improve their singing. If you like reading, this is the ideal place. Except during the winter season, leave windows open just a crack so that you can hear the music of the rustling trees from a distance, which is also the appeal of the Nanba residence.
Bath and amenities
In the serene setting of the spacious bath, you can take a nice long bath. Amenities for bathing and for getting ready in the morning include a toothbrush, shampoo, body-wash, cleansing foam, and hair dryer.
About the meals
Meals in the guest house will not be served. You can cook using prepared ingredients together with the staff of “Yamato” or with just your fellow members as a self-catering menu. The appeal of dinner at “Yamato” is the highly palatable Nanbamai rice produced in the rice paddies as large as approximately 20 hectares. The rice is so popular that it is requested and delivered outside the prefecture exclusively by Yamato. If you love rice, please make sure to taste this rice.

Example activities
【Operating agricultural machines】
For rice-growing in rice paddies as big as approximately 20 hectares, there are multiple large agricultural machines at “Yamato.” You can operate a tractor, rice planter, combine harvester, and other farm equipment. Do not worry if you are not sure how to operate. Take chan who used to be a teacher at an agricultural high school will show you the ropes in an easy-to-understand manner.
【Bamboo craft】
Various things can be crafted out of bamboo lumbered from the bamboo grove on the back hill. Small children can make bamboo-helicopters or other bamboo toys, and adults can make plates, chopsticks, forks, and other things of practical use out of bamboo. Eating with unique bamboo plateware should have the effect of making your meals look and taste slightly different.
【Work hands-on with straw】
When straw from a rice paddy field is dried, it can be used as "straw." Using this straw, you can experience "straw work," one of Japan’s traditional handicrafts. If you visit here near the end of the year, you can try making a traditional New Year's decorations.
